The haunting beauty of Carrie Ann Baade’s oil paintings invokes the mythic past, with echoes of the self in layered narratives and fantastical parables. Baade unlocks stories from her subconscious mind, revealing psychological revelations in stimulating and provocative combinations. This is the most extensive local exhibition of Baade’s work to date.

Mark Messersmith creates stunningly beautiful and vibrant paintings depicting North Florida’s flora and fauna. Through intricate layering of subject matter, Messersmith gives viewers a seemingly endless scenery to explore the dense, tangled, and fragile natural world, as it and its inhabitants desperately try to survive.

Venvi Art Gallery is pleased to present "Mélange," a joint exhibition by Terrie Corbett, Nancy Dillen, and Grace Leal. The title; a French word describing a mixture or medley of things, evokes the colorful contrasting styles of the three artists fusing into a singular, dynamic showcasing.

This show features Bowland’s signature Plein Air Landscapes, capturing the magical serenity of North Florida’s outdoors and beyond. The title of the show is inspired by a quote from early 20th-century Floridian author Marjorie Kinnan Rawlings: “I do not understand how anyone can live without some small place of enchantment to turn to.”

For her first solo show with Venvi Art Gallery, Falbo is exploring the complexities of vulnerability and relationships, through fruit as a metaphor. Her hyper-realistic and vibrant compositions conjure a range of emotions and inspire viewers to reflect upon their own relationships with themselves and others.

Venvi Art Gallery is pleased to present “Spectrum” a solo exhibition by local artist, Dan Taylor. Returning for his fifth solo show with Venvi, Taylor is bringing a new focus to this body of work by exploring and celebrating humanity’s wide spectrum of diversity through colorful abstract compositions.

Artist Bryce Speed's works use abundant color and mark making to suggest a rich atmosphere of depth and space, where new yet familiar worlds emerge. The works are representational and abstract elements to evoke a sense of transformation and movement within the picture plane. Likewise, these paintings suggest a current and future waterscape controlled by imagination but effected by climate change and a warming planet.

Venvi Art Gallery is pleased to present Twilight Sleep by Carrie Ann Baade. For her debut solo show at Venvi, Baade conveys hypnotizing, beautiful and at times haunting imagery through her paintings. In her allegorical narratives, she comments on difficult, real-world issues in women’s lives, that push the viewer to deconstruct and reflect upon the symbols and metaphors she is presenting.

Venvi Art Gallery is pleased to present Mark Messersmith’s third solo exhibition with the gallery titled, “Lost Garden of Hesperides”. Mark Messersmith’s electrifying compositions meditate on the beauty, chaos, and tragedy that exists in our modern environments. While technological advancements have made human life more convenient and comfortable, the natural landscape and its inhabitants are too often violated and left to deal with the consequences we created for them and in return, for ourselves as well.

Venvi Art Gallery is pleased to present Brinda Pamulapati’s solo exhibition, “Revitalization”. Emerging triumphantly out of this challenging time, Pamulapati brings new light and inspiration to the gallery for her second solo exhibition. “Due to the coronavirus, I got a chance to slow down, get grounded and refreshed,” she explains. Her vibrant, abstract compositions will be on display, August 6th through 25th of 2021.

The elusive and hypnotic reflection of glittering light on water’s surface is captured in the brilliant paintings of the gallery's newest online showing, "Free Spirit" by Austin Palmer-Smith. He brings forth the meditative state and tranquility one might feel while looking out over a vast seascape.

In a Vivid Light will showcase new oil paintings of Bowland’s vibrantly colorful, thickly-textured landscapes. Bowland paints directly from the landscape, known in French as plein air or “open air” painting. Color is heightened and exaggerated; loose, energetic brushstrokes create bold, expressionistic interpretations of nature.
