This is one of seven paintings in a series, the September Series. These paintings are the result of me reflecting on my Grandfather’s Ohio farm. I was thinking of the farming process – the land and the seasons. Sweet September is the last of the series. It is the smallest piece. Harvest is over. The land is resting. Pretty marigolds bloom in place of weeds.
