Grace Leal | Cherry Red

This artwork consists of 16 pieces arranged in four rows with a two inch gap between the pieces. Each piece is 4 x 4 Inches.

I went to a food market in small town in France and they were closing for the day. I saw these trays in the trash that had very interesting, shinning silver cups.. As I was taking photos of the trays, I saw some cherries that were also near the trash. I spent a lot of time arranging some of the cherries in the trays and taking photos. The graphic contrast of black silver and red is always a pleasing combination.
