This is one of seven paintings in a series, the September Series. These paintings are the result of me reflecting on my Grandfather’s Ohio farm. I was thinking of the farming process – the land and the seasons. In September Moon, we see the deepening sky, the pale moon, and those pesky weeds as they bow their ugly heads in sleep and say, 'Good Night Moon.'
