Sam McCoy | Local Pines: Postcard Pines

Local Pines series : A celebration of exaggerated sunsets and silhouette pine trees, this series comes from 1930/1950s era postcards and scenes I pass by. Postcard Pines is a blown up painting of a collage scrap from the beginning of the Roadside series. There is an honesty to hand tinted postcards trying to catch all the colors in a sunset.
